Beginning Dec. 1, 2025, Availity Essentials will become the exclusive platform to submit all portal authorizations for Fidelis Care New Jersey and Wellcare of New Jersey.

On this date, the authorization function will no longer be available in the current Fidelis Care New Jersey and Wellcare of New Jersey provider portals. To avoid any service disruptions, please take the following steps to ensure your office is prepared to use Availity Essentials for portal authorization submissions starting Dec. 1, 2025:

If you are associated with an organization that already has an Availity Essentials account that you use, you will be able to use Availity Essentials for Fidelis Care New Jersey and Wellcare of New Jersey.
If your organization does not have an Availity Essentials account, visit www.availity.com and click Get Started at the top-right of the page.
Review your internal workflows and replace all Fidelis Care New Jersey and Wellcare of New Jersey portal authorization submissions to Availity Essentials (effective 12/01/25).
Availity Administrators should confirm that appropriate staff have the Authorization & Referral Request and Authorization & Referral Inquiry role assignments so they can access the application.
